As a convenience to University departments, an arrangement with Sam’s Club has been established to enable departments to purchase food items.

University Purchasing & Spending Policies should be reviewed prior to obligating University funds for purchases to ensure appropriate policies and procedures are followed.

Departments can pick up the Sam’s Club UA Membership Card from the front desk of the Procurement Services Building at 1500 Flint River Drive between the hours of 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. The membership card must be returned to Procurement Services within 48 hours of checking out.

The preferred method of payment at Sam’s Club is the UA Purchasing Card.  Please note that all purchases are sales tax-exempt by use of UA Membership Card. Payment of sales tax by use of personal membership card will be subject to P-Card Compliance Policy and applicable penalties.
