Amy Chambley

Amy Chambley is a Procurement Specialist III in Purchasing for The University of Alabama.  In this role, she is responsible for purchasing commodities of medical equipment and supplies, janitorial equipment and supplies, paint, building materials, carpet, and landscaping equipment and supplies.   As a Procurement Specialist III, she is also tasked with managing campus compliance with Alabama’s competitive bid law as well as providing guidance to campus on adhering to Purchasing related policies and procedures.

Ms. Chambley has worked in fields of purchasing, project management, operations/logistical management and construction during her career with the GE Capital IT Solutions and JF Day Inc, Pella Windows & Doors. She started at The University of Alabama in 2007. Amy earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice at Memphis State University (now University of Memphis).

Amy is a member of the National Association of Educational Procurement with both regional and national participation.
