Sharon O’Neal is a Senior Buyer in the Purchasing Department for the University of Alabama.  Her main responsibility is assisting the Science and Engineering Department on campus to procure items and services for teaching and research as well as guidance in compliance with Alabama Bid Law and Purchasing Procedures.

Prior to joining UA in 1997, Sharon worked in purchasing at a local manufacturing facility for twenty-four years.  Sharon graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in Home Economic/Fashion Retail.
